e-learning for smart classrooms

The Queensland Government ‘Smart Classroom’ initiative has provided a set of standards and characteristics of effective digital learners, effective eLearning teachers and effective eLearning schools. They state

“Effective eLearning requires a strong, whole-school vision built on the belief that ICT can accelerate, enable, improve and transform learning opportunities in all key learning areas” (Department of Education, Training and the Arts, 2008)

In my future practice as an educator, I will endeavor to do what i can to live up to these characteristics and standards, to ensure effective digital learners, to be an effective eLearning teacher, in an effective eLearning school.
